1. Check quests and elite Archimedea access
Complete Angels of the Zariman and Whispers in the Walls, and unlock either Elite Temporal Archimedea or Elite Deep Archimedea. The developer distinguishes unlocking an elite option from completing it: completion is not necessary for Icebind eligibility. Check each player’s account rather than assuming the host’s progress qualifies the whole squad.
2. Collect a Cryobell and open the mode screen
At Yuvan Peak, claim Cryobells from the ice pillar, then speak with Cephalon Melica and select the Cryobell interaction. Launch rules supply three keys per week, with storage for up to six. A key is spent after successful extraction rather than merely beginning an attempt. If none are available, check stock and the weekly refresh before reinstalling the client.
3. Check the squad and each player’s interaction
Launch rules require six players using different Warframes, without public matchmaking. The host forms this squad through Ring the Cryobell, and invited players also need to interact with Melica and select their keys. An unavailable solo entry is therefore an access limitation. Discussion of future changes does not establish that they are already available.
4. When the voting countdown does not begin
PC hotfix 44.1.1 changes the sequence: after keys are selected, the host can start the timer when the group has discussed its options. It also starts automatically once three players have voted. Waiting here is not sufficient evidence of a freeze. Check the host’s action and votes first; the old automatic-after-all-selections instruction is incomplete.
5. When the mission runs but will not finish
An active side objective holds extraction until it finishes, and failure of a started side objective fails the mission: these are rules. The October 8 Known Issues post separately investigates certain impossible Excavation and Mobile Defense keys and recommends not voting for an affected key again. Record the mission type and key to distinguish that case from waiting for an objective.
6. Fixed cases and reporting a recurrence
PC hotfix 44.1.1 fixes progression stopping when a squad member leaves after a side objective starts, and objectives appearing in inaccessible Orokin Vaults. If a similar issue recurs on an updated client, record version, key, stage and host/client role, with a screenshot or video for the developer report. PC notes do not prove that every other platform has the same installed version.
