War Thunder: It’s fixed! #118 adjusts bomber damage

Gaijin’s October 7 roundup describes changes to bomber damage. Update 2.59.0.54 makes high-explosive fragments and small-caliber machine-gun fire penetrate aircraft skin more effectively and damage internal modules.

Aircraft collisions now cause more damage: wings and tails previously survived impacts that should have separated them. Southeastern City now uses height-map technology, with revised shores and vegetation, and new forests and villages in the north. The weekly roundup also covers Nuclear Escalation convoy fixes and missile explosion logic. It spans several weeks, so the entire list should not be attributed to the October 7 patch. When comparing bomber survivability, use the same ammunition and impact locations. The developer’s post contains the full changelog.
