On September 29, the RuneScape: Dragonwilds team announced that Epic Games Store players can once again connect and enjoy cross-play. Patch 1.0.0.6 also affected the saving of characters and worlds.
The fix prevents exiting Edit Appearance until the character is saved. Corrupt world saves should appear in the list again, but the team does not directly consider this a full restoration: some users may still not be able to log into their world. Separately, a crash when selecting Online without an Internet connection has been fixed. If a save appears in the menu, this is not proof of its full serviceability. Keep copies and watch for subsequent messages about data recovery.
