Minecraft Live: Ice caves, glowing crystals and frozen zombies

A Minecraft Live recap from September 26 shows ideas for the game's next drop: ice caves, calcite, ceiling icicles, and crystals on the ground with a soft glow.

The team also introduced a frozen variant of the zombie: its attacks deal damage and cause freezing, and some zombies throw ice balls. In the review post, the variant has not yet received a final name. This is a description of announced content: the review here does not set an exact general release date or confirm its presence in each stable version. Before searching for caves in your save, check the client number and notes for the installed update. A screenshot from a presentation or experimental build does not in itself prove that these objects are already being generated in your world. For tests, use a separate save so that the result does not depend on the old explored areas.
