Rockstar introduced part of Grand Theft Auto VI’s radio lineup on October 8. Jason and Lucia will be able to listen to radio and podcasts in vehicles and on foot through headphones connected to their smartphones.
The selection includes modern Latin station Cocoteo FM, country station Back Country Radio, African music on AfroBank FM, metal on The Chamber 106.6, pop on Flash FM and southern rap and hip-hop on Dirty South Classics. Robyn and Alex host Flash FM; DJ Kerry and DJ Tom host The Chamber; Trick and Trina host Dirty South Classics. These are six revealed stations, not the announced total number of stations in the game. Rockstar also confirmed on-demand podcasts and posted radio previews in the official site’s Music section. Further details about the dynamic score are promised; this announcement is not a complete song list. In-game radio and the separate GTA VI album are different parts of the music project. This article uses the written announcement, without inferring an unconfirmed track list from audio previews.
