Valve released a Counter-Strike 2 update on the evening of October 8 UTC. It adds a ping icon for dropped defuse kits and shortens the AUG reload by half a second.
The update fixes a sound event during silent Desert Eagle reloads and a case of buzzing soundscapes during demo playback. It also lists clipping fixes on Rush maps, localization changes and stability updates. The AUG change concerns reload time, not weapon damage or price. Compare the same demo sequence after updating the client when checking the sound fix. Valve supplies no FPS measurements or complete balance table here, so this short announcement does not establish a performance increase.
