Apex Legends: Steam settings reset fixed and Fast Draw changed

In the October 2nd update, the Apex Legends team fixed an issue where the game settings in the Steam version would reset after each restart. The post also changes the Fast Draw bonuses in Wildcard.

EA notes that the reset often affected non-standard folder structures or installation locations, especially in the Asia Pacific region. For Fast Draw, the reload time reduction has been changed from 35% to 25%, and the consumable use time reduction has been changed from 50% to 25%. These numbers apply to the listed Wildcard bonus, not all modes or all weapons. After the update, you can check the preservation of one clearly visible parameter: write down the original value, restart the game in the usual way and compare the result. If the setting disappears again, please attach the client version and installation location to your request. Repetition of the error on a specific PC requires a separate check; the patch message does not promise the same result for any configuration.
