Minimum Windows configuration
Steam lists Windows 10 64-bit, a Ryzen 5 2600X or Intel Core i5-8500, 16 GB RAM and a Radeon RX 5500 XT or GeForce GTX 1060. DirectX 12 is required. Compare the complete specification: enough memory alone does not establish that the CPU and GPU qualify. For a laptop, check the exact graphics adapter rather than just its product family.
Recommended configuration
The recommended processors are Ryzen 5 5600 or Intel Core i5-11600K, paired with Radeon RX 6700 XT or GeForce RTX 2080. Windows 10 64-bit, 16 GB RAM and DirectX 12 remain listed. This table provides no guaranteed frame rate for a particular resolution or preset. It should therefore not be presented as a promise of stable 60 fps in every scene.
SSD and available storage
Both Windows configurations explicitly require an SSD rather than merely recommending one. The storage requirement is 150 GB of available space. This is an installation-space requirement, not a statement that every network download has exactly that size. Check the free space on the drive you actually selected. The separate Mac requirements
The Mac table specifies macOS 15.0 or later, an Apple processor, 16 GB memory and 150 GB available space. The minimum lists M2 Pro, M3 and M4; the recommended list is M3 Pro, M4 Pro and M5. Owning a Mac alone does not establish that it meets the named configuration. The Windows table of NVIDIA and AMD cards is not the Mac specification.
Making a useful comparison
Record your CPU, GPU, RAM, operating system, storage device and free space. Compare complete minimum and recommended rows, then record the resolution and settings you use.
